IRS Negotiations
If you're experiencing or worried about liens, levies, garnishments, or more, now is the time to learn about your options to protect yourself and resolve your tax burden. IRS Fresh Start programs under federal law provide real relief, but they can be very complex to navigate.
We can help you solve your IRS related issues by leveraging the law in your favor and potentially can save you thousands of dollars.
It is important to understand that when you call the IRS directly, you will talk to a junior IRS tax collector whose job is to collect information to use against you to collect on your full tax balance, even if you are experiencing financial hardship. Front line collectors are NOT tasked with the responsibility of negotiating a lower agreement for you.

Payroll Tax Problems
The IRS and State are very aggressive in their collection attempts for past due payroll taxes. The penalties assessed on delinquent payroll tax deposits or filings can dramatically increase the total amount of tax debt owed in a matter of months. We know that it is critical to have representation for these types of tax problems.
The most common types of Payroll taxes are 941 taxes and 940 taxes. Most business owners never intend to use these funds they are holding in Trust for the IRS, but when faced with not making payroll or some other pressing business obligation, they feel they have no choice but to use them.
Depending on the variables of the case, the back taxes themselves can usually be negotiated down to a settlement, and the associated penalties and interest abated. In order to stay in business the owner must find a solution to the liability or the IRS will move quickly to put them out of business.
Avoid meeting with any IRS or State representatives regarding payroll taxes until we have reviewed your options.

Questions
The date on which the IRS has to forgo a taxpayer’s debt, 10 years from when the penalty was assessed
An IRS wage garnishment is part of the IRS levy process and permitted by the Internal Revenue Code. When a taxpayer ignores the IRS notices about taxes owed, the IRS can levy property included wages. The levy notice is sent to the employer and monies are withheld from the taxpayer’s paycheck and sent directly to the IRS. A federal tax levy must leave the taxpayer with some income for living expenses, many state’s tax levies do not.
Tax returns filed after the tax deadline for a particular tax year. Usually, the IRS requires that you file delinquent tax returns for the past six years.
An abatement or reduction of tax-related penalties for one tax period, for taxpayers who have incurred tax debt for the first time. If any penalties are reduced, the related interest associated with the penalties is also reduced.
An agreement with the IRS to pay less than what is owed, because a taxpayer cannot pay the full amount due to financial hardship.
Levy Removal
The IRS is more willing to remove a levy, lien, or garnishment if you make an alternate arrangement to pay down the debt. As tax relief experts, this is our specialty.
We can negotiate on your behalf to work out an installment plan or present a quality Offer in Compromise to the IRS. We can also assist with penalty adjustments or IRS appeals if applicable.
Your circumstances and financial security dictate the best action to resolve your debt, which is why we make recommendations case by case.
From the start, you work directly with your tax reduction consultant to develop a viable strategy for your situation. The right approach increases your chances of tax lien removal or levy release.
